About
One person, two hammers, zero corporate filler.
Hammers Lab is Luca Sartori, an independent software engineer who builds production systems end to end. Not a agency with a bench. Not a freelancer who disappears after the invoice. One person who owns the architecture, the code, and the 2 a.m. pager.
Behind the name
Lab, because software is experimentation with consequences. Hammers, because someone has to actually build the thing. The logo is a grinning flask holding crossed hammers. We lean into it.
How we think
- Domain first. Understand the problem before choosing the framework.
- Boring technology, applied well. Novelty is a cost, not a feature.
- Ship incrementally. Weekly demos beat quarterly milestones.
- Stay for operations. Launch day is the starting line, not the finish.
The studio
Hammers Lab is a brand name, not a legal entity. Yet. No S.r.l., no fake team page, no stock photos of people in headsets. When the entity forms, this page gets updated. Until then: one engineer, one shipped product, full accountability.
Based in Italy. Working remotely across Europe.
